Weapons/Special Attacks

Weapons:

  1. Saber Knife: He has one dagger length saber, it clones perfectly when he creates his Doppelgangers
  2. Throwing Laser Blades: He can form tiny laser blades in his hands and throw them. It's done through a module inside his hands. It seems to be able to buff his strikes, for instance it's used in the final strike of Phantasm.

Items:

Special Attacks:

  1. Doppelganger: This is his core skill, he can summon an almost perfect copy of him physically to attack in combination with him. He can only summon one of these at a time, they can take up to 3 weak hits (or one strong hit) before being forced away, however it will not stop their onslaught, so they will never flinch unlike their original. It's damage output is about half of the original, but each successive strike from it will increase it's damage output until it reaches the original's. An average of 3 consecutive hits are required to achieve that. It doesn't matter if the strike deals damage or not, as long as it strikes a target, the damage will accumulate, damage dealt via throwing blades does not count. He also cannot use it while under pressure (ie. Being struck hard enough to flinch, in which case will cancel it immediately if it's summoned). He can call a Doppelganger to join him at any point during any attack (except Phantasm where it by default calls them right at the start of the attack), so he can call a Doppelganger to attack first, with him following, vice versa, or simultaneous.
  2. Lethality: A straight dashing strike that moves the user blindingly fast. Intended as a swiping strike, weak damage overall but can cut very deep, so this move is ideal for a precision strike on a weak spot.
  3. Form Switch Advanced: Adds 5 extra allowable transformations per mission/battle. Switching between his Shade Mode and regular form will not dismiss Doppelgangers unless he has two out, in which case if he has two out and switches back to Normal mode, one will be dismissed to match his specs.

  2. Lethality: A straight dashing strike that moves the user blindingly fast. Intended as a swiping strike, weak damage overall but can cut very deep, so this move is ideal for a precision strike on a weak spot.
  3. Checkmate: Arsenios is capable of setting up his knives, leaving them floating in the air for a delayed amount of time before they fly at their target. Set-up is very easy, so he can do it mid-way through Crescent or right before or right after a Lethality and Crescent.
  4. Doppelganger+: Adds an additional doppelganger, allowing for higher damage output and mix-up plays. Damage accumulation is separate for each doppelganger.
  5. Wicked Crescent: Arsenios will move in a crescent shape, along the ground, into the air, from the air and to the ground, etc. His clones can naturally do this too. This move can allow him to recycle a combo, keeping on pressure while repositioning and putting him in a position to continue attacking. The attack is generally weak, but blindingly fast. Wicked Crescent is a very flexible skill, and can be cancelled mid-way into another attack, so a lot of trippy moves can be done if used creatively.
  6. Phantasm: His doppelgangers will move in and attack with deadly combinations of Crescent and Lethality a few times a piece before Arsenios comes in with a heavily buffed and long range Lethality as the final blow. Hits up to 7 times. This move will instantly bring all Doppelgangers damage output to that of the original, given if they land. During use, Arsenios can be struck, but it will not cancel the Doppelganger's assault, however if he is struck, the final strike will not be executed, and the Doppelgangers will immediately disappear after their job is done. The move also does not lock anyone down, meaning people can actively move and evade it as well.

Background

Personality: Arsenios can be seen as quite friendly, part of what he learned inside the lab is the British dialect, so he can sound quite gentlemanly too. His primary source of thrill in fact comes from learning more, it seems he was programmed to be the successor of his creator, so that's the reason behind it. He has enough knowledge to fully design reploids of his own, so from time to time he is tasked with minor designs for defense systems. This translates over into battle, he'll immediately learn combat patterns with a single viewing of it, although with his base intelligence, he can already guess it most of the time.

History: A shockingly intelligent reploid, was created by Doctor Arsenios before he passed away, unfortunately no name was given to him in his programming. His colleagues would always say that he had trouble naming him. Upon his automatic awakening and completed creation two years prior, he was in a deserted lab in old London, or what was once London in the old world. With very little understanding of the world upon awakening, he accessed Arsenios' computer that was still functional in the old lab. From that he learned everything there is to know about his creator's research, although he struggled to find a name for himself. Eventually he settled on Arsenios, after his creator, he felt it fitting.

He was found by the hunters and thought to be another Maverick, but his abilities were far too great for any regular hunter to eliminate him so easily. He attempted parley at the second encounter, and it seems to have worked. He was taken back to base, and checked, and all the usual procedures. In the end he was fine, completely healthy.
