Hulk vs Iron Man

Bruce Banner was irradiated by high levels of Gamma energy during a weapons test. This gamma energy lead to the creation of the incredible Hulk. But the government wanted to capture Hulk and study him to recreate the effect to create an army of super soldiers, their actions forced Hulk to flee.

Judge's Analysis

Close range - Tie. The Thunder clap (hulk smashes his hands together with impressive speed/power) is strong, but not enough to kill Iron Man even through repeated uses. (Baring he catches Iron Man in the center of his hands…) Iron Man's energy blade can cut through many things… But not likely the Hulk's skin unless he uses most of his energy to do it.

Medium Range - Tie because while the ground rip could disorient Iron Man, it won't kill him due to his armor's protection. (If it even hits him at all because Iron Man tends to fly a lot, so ripping the ground won't affect him.) But on the other hand, Iron Man's pulse bolts might hurt Hulk a bit, they certainly won't be enough to kill him on their own.

Long Range - Tie because while Hulk's leaping stomp is impressively powerful, again it has to hit the target. Iron Man, being a flying opponent with enhanced speed/reaction times, would be extremely hard to hit with a stomp. (But if the Hulk could hit Iron Man, this would be his most lethal attack.) On the other side, Iron Man's repulsors have no problem hitting Hulk (they're fast and pretty powerful) but they'd have trouble doing more than pissing Hulk off.

Special - Tie because while Hulk could throw a boulder at Iron Man, for the most part Iron Man could dodge it or potentially even throw it back if he had enough room/time to catch it. But like the repulsor issue, the Unibeam could hit Hulk… but it's effectiveness is limited to pissing the Hulk off.

Results

Without the Hulkbuster armour, Iron Man never stood a chance against Hulk. Iron Man could piss the Hulk off with his weaponry, but was unable to do any amount of damage. Meanwhile Hulk had a hard time catching Iron Man, but once he inevitably did the fight was all over for Iron Man.
