Deadliest Warrior 2011

Round 1: Commander Shepard vs Darth Vader

Commander Shepard (Sentinel class) Name Darth Vader
Overload Close Range weapon Force grip
Tempest submachine gun Medium Range Lightsaber throw
Biotic Throw Long Range Force throw
M920 Cain Special Weapon Lightsaber
Advanced biotic implants, Kinetic barrier, extreme training and a new lease on life. X Factor Formerly the strongest force user ever, has Jedi and Sith training.

Judge's Analysis:
For the close range weapons, I give Vader's force grip the edge. It kills in seconds depending on how much pressure he wants to use where Shepard's Overload biotic is primarily useful in defeating shields or synthetics. (Which Vader is part synthetic… But only part.) Though they are classed as short range abilities, they are both able to be used farther than that away. Though Shepard's has better range, it may not kill Vader in one shot while Vader's most certainly will kill Shepard (even through the space suit.)

For the Medium range weapons, I give the edge to the Tempest sub machine gun because it fires faster and doesn't take as long to reload. If Vader misses with the Lightsaber throw, it takes some time before he can recall it to throw again, leaving him slightly less defended.

For the long range weapon, both users have a throw move. I'm calling this one a tie because the upper limits of their throw's abilties aren't known and a throw along isn't going to kill the enemy. (Both would just land, recover and proceed to fighting.)

For the Special weapons, I'm giving Vader the edge because his weapon also acts defensively, allowing him to stop Shepard's bullets. His weapon also doesn't take as long to fire.

Round 2: Benders vs Avengers

Round 3: Sigma vs Isaac Clarke

Sigma (X8 form) Name Isaac Clarke
Sigma Blade Close Range weapon Saw blades
Energy Rings Medium Range Plasma cutter
Burning Wave Long Range Contact Beam
Teleport Slash Special Weapon IM-822 Line Gun
Decades of combat experience,
great strategic mind,
ability to transfer himself to new bodies.
X Factor Faced intense horrors and survived,
left addled so may be unpredictable.

Judge Analysis:
For the Close range, I have to give the edge to Sigma. His massive sword can easily block, if not destroy, a saw blade. Especially when coupled with his formidable body's abilities.

For the mod range, Isaac's plasma cutter is the superior weapon. It can slice through minerals given that it was originally designed for mining so Sigma's armor likely won't put up too much resistance. Though Sigma's energy rings are likely fairly easy for even Isaac to dodge. (Especially since he could probably just walk through the gaping holes in them…)

For long range, I give this one to Sigma because his Burning Wave is much faster than Isaac's Contact beam which takes a few second to charge before it can fire. Though both are vulnerable when they begin to use their moves. (Isaac can't fire until the beam finishes charging and Sigma can't move until he disengages the beam.)

For special weapon, I give this to Isaac's line cutter because it covers a wide area when fired, it also fires rather quickly and reloads fairly quick too. It's secondary fire also is useful since it lays proximity mines which can be used against Sigma if you know where he's going to end up teleporting… (Lay a proximity mine right where he is going to land.)

Round 4: Batman vs Flash

Batman Name Flash
Martial Arts Close Range weapon Mach Punch
Grappeling Hook Medium Range Mach Tornado
Batarang Long Range Tornado punch
Explosive Batarang Special Weapon Molecular vibration
Genius intellect,
able to analyze fighting styles and counter them.
Lots of money for new gadgets.
X Factor Super speed,
heightened reaction time,
high endurance based from traveling at high speeds.

Judge's Analysis:
For short range, I have to give Flash the advantage. While Batman is a highly skilled martial artist. Flash is hundreds of times faster which gives his punches that much more force and makes them that much harder to catch, block or counter. He can also accelerate to be so fast that a punch from him would shatter a normal person almost instantly. (So even if they blocked the strike, the impact's force would still kill them.) Flash's Mach Punch and Molecular Vibration

For the medium range, I have to call it a tie. Flash's tornado (You can see a demo of it in the kid Flash vs. Madam Rouge vid posted under the long range weapon/skill, it's later on in the video though.) might be able to kill Batman if Flash spun fast/long enough to lift Batman high into the sky then dropped him… (Though there is nothing preventing Batman from using his grappling hook to get away.) Batman on the other hand could potentially use the grappling hook for a gun. Since it may fire fast enough to pierce skin and cause damage with the hooked end. But against Flash, who can take speeds in excess of 700 MPH, a single fairly slow grappling hook may not even do damage. (Though it could be grabbed and used to spin Batman around at high speed…)

For long range, I have to call this one a tie. The batarang, while useful for disarming people is not used for killing. (It could probably kill if thrown properly… Provided Flash didn't dodge it or worse, catch it and throw it back at 15 times the speed.) Meanwhile, Flash's Tornado punch is highly useful for knocking people at a distance or disrupting them, but isn't so good for causing permanent or lethal damage. Kid Flash using Tornado Punch

For the special weapons, I have to give this to Flash. His molecular vibration allows him to shred armor and cut people into tiny bits by ripping their molecules apart (which you can see in the same video posted above where Flash fights Lex/Brainiac.) Batman's explosive batarangs are arguably the only weapon he has on him that could be lethal… But to someone like Flash with super endurance, it might not pack enough bang to stop him.
