Armor description: Vile wears a green helmet with a T-shaped visor that obscures his face. The helmet has yellow splash that emanates from the visor.

His chest is grey with 3 small vent-like marks on each pectoral region, in the centre. His shoulderpads are green. On his back is a large backpack with a cannon that extends over his right shoulder and a missile pod over his left shoulder. His cannon is red with a green crystal in the barrel. His biceps are purple, his forearms are green with yellow triangular shaped highlights on the bottom. His gloves are white with silver fingers.

His stomach is purple. At his waist he has two large belts that meet in an X shaped centre circle.

His thighs are purple. His shin armour is green with an orange plate over his knee (with 3 grey studs). He has yellow arrow-shaped marks up the side of his leg. His boots are grey and angular.

1. Spark shot - Vile launches an electric ball from his shoulder cannon. He can fire these at high speed.
2. Missiles - Vile launches several small missiles from the missile launcher over his left shoulder.
3. Flames - Vile shoots a short wave of flames from his cannon.
4. Arc Discharge - OverDrive – Vile unleashes a massive wave of electric that spins around him. Though he can only release the shock for a few seconds before needing to recharge to unleash a second blast.

Vile has advanced thrusters which allow him to fly around the battlefield at high speeds.

Personality:

Vile is extremely arrogant, rude and violent. He refuses to take orders from others well (which caused him issues when he was a hunter). He is a sociopath who feels no problem killing anything that stands before him. He has a penchant for destruction and causing as much as he possible can. He harbours a deep resentment about MegaMan X because X was a lower ranked hunter but received a higher amount of attention.

Vile loves robot rides and very often will engage in fights with his own customized version.

History:

Vile was created to be a Maverick Hunter. Though a design flaw in his control chip meant he was more violent and destructive than other hunters. He was fairly effective at hunting down and killing mavericks though so for a time his destructive tendencies were overlooked. However in one incident he went too far and caused way too much destruction then refused to stop. This lead to him being arrested and imprisoned in Hunter HQ.

He was later broken out by Sigma and given the chance to destroy X. However he failed and was killed after Zero sacrified himself to destroy Vile's robot ride.

He was later revived by Dr. Doppler (under Sigma's instruction) though he was infected by the Sigma Virus and refused to follow Dr. Doppler/Sigma's plan and instead rushed off to confront X… Where he was promptly killed again.

After that he was revived again by unknown parties (probably Sigma again). Though he was somewhat smarter and more prone to avoiding Hunters… at least for a while.

He was eventually revived for a 5th time (again by unknown parties) and eventually participated in the Orbital Elevator incident.

Vile was thought to be modelled after George Lucas' Star Wars character Boba Fett. (Due to his armour design bearing a strong resemblance to the Mandalorian battle armour.) Though he was really based off Mad Max's Baba.
