Head – Iron Iguana's head is a dark grey metal with a large row of metal spikes that start at the forehead and go all the way down the back of the neck. His dark gold eyes are on either side of the head, though pointed forward (creating a menacing glare).

Chest/torso – A mostly plain grey body with the exception of many spikes along the back (starting where the neck ends) that go the length of the body. He has 3 rows of spikes (unlike a normal iguana's one row). He also has a long tail that has many more spikes along it's length. The tail is entirely black in colour.

Arms – He has rounded shoulders and very large grey forearms with a black scale pattern on them. The back of his forearms also have a row of spikes on them. His hands are black with large nails at the end of his fingers.

Legs – His legs are fairly short and grey, though the shin region (like the forearm) has a black scale-like pattern on it.

Weapons/Special Attacks

Special Attacks:

  1. Iron Slug – Buster – Preparing a small piece of metal, this move fires it from the buster (or from Iguana’s fingers) at a very high speed using a railgun like configuration. (The fingers of Iguana are hollow to accommodate for this.)
  2. Tin Snipper – Saber – (Iguana constructs a saber for this move.) The saber becomes coated by a dense fluid, this fluid then hardens into spikes. The user may then choose to fling spikes at an enemy or use them for extra punch on the saber… However, the spikes break on contact so if they want a second shot they have to reuse this move.
  3. Iron Shard – Knuckle – The same dense fluid emerges from the back of the user’s arms, then takes the form of blades, unlike the tin snipper move, these spikes cannot be fired off. However on impact they can be released to wedge themselves into wounds. Once in such a wound, the spike opens and injects the host body with molten metal, inflicting pain as it travels. However the scope of this move is limited and after a few seconds the liquid metal disperses/hardens too much to continue doing damage.
  4. Molten Mist - Iron Iguana unleashes a spray of superheated metal from his body. The metal burns those in close proximity and when it cools down it jams up joints and makes it harder for enemies to move. However this move uses a lot of Iron's reservoir of material. So he uses it very sparingly.


Personality: Iron Iguana is a fairly simple reploid. He's not stupid by any means, but he just doesn't care for grand schemes or plans. He has no trust of anyone, Dr. Weil included. He simply does as told for now… Though he does have a fairly sadistic side (imparted by Dr. Weil) and enjoys causing harm. He's extremely methodical when torturing.

History: Designed by Dr. Weil as an expert in torture. This reploid was meant for extracting info from targets. To this end Dr. Weil built Iron Iguana with a magnetic field generator to suspend molten metal inside his body and extrude it into spikes or as a liquid to cause pain/damage to targets. The spikes along his body serve as extra material to be used in the melting pot should Iron Iguana need to be in an extended fight.

Behind the Maverick

Based off a common green iguana.

The sound waves from Sonic Shrimp cause the molten metal kept inside to break free from the magnetic suspension and splash about, causing damage to his insides.
