Human vs Reploid

Humans are the underdogs of the maverick war, they were the whole reason it started, and they have been trying to ride it out for over a century. Some of whom happen to have joined the hunters in the fight for peace. As human bodies are biologic, they get tired, need food and water and have to breathe. If these needs aren't met, then the human won’t be able to fight on equal grounds as the reploids. (Death occurring in 3 minutes without oxygen… Death being a huge hamper on fighting skills.) Also of note is that in order to fight on par with their reploid counter parts, all humans are required to have an armoured exosuit. (This suit is what enhances their human capabilities to a reploid level.) The exosuit isn’t bulky at all, only making the underlying human slightly larger. (This is akin to an Iron Man type armour…) This exosuit also grants the user the ability to use Hypermode like Reploids.

Reploids on the other hand, are entirely mechanical, they don't need food or water (though they can still enjoy it) as well they don't tire as fast. Just a nap every once in a while to recharge their bodies. (Yes, they do still get tired, but just it can take a month or more to get to that point.) But beyond that a reploid doesn’t normally need oxygen. (Some reploids may require oxygen for special moves or whatnot, but the reploid themselves does not need to breathe.)

Why can't I frequently change my stats/moves?

Originally stats and moves were to be left alone because it involved a lot of extra work to update them. (Contacting the game creator to run the new move/stat configuration, getting the ok or feedback on what needed to be changed. And then actually making the change.) Plus moves and stats were supposed to be left alone to prevent people from constantly re-tweaking them so they could be the best for every situation. (Preventing someone from changing their moves/attacks in battle so they could whip out whatever kind of attack they needed at the moment without anyone knowing what they added/removed or when they did it.)

However, given that all the profiles are on the wiki and changes are logged here this has been relaxed some. (Since all changes are logged, exactly when and what has been altered is easy to tell. So it makes comparisons easy to do.)

The story reason is: Reploids are machines so to make a change they have to fundamentally alter their bodies. (Removing components and swapping them with new ones. Which is possible… but it takes time, specialized knowledge and often a technician to make the changes. So it's not something that is going to be happening in the middle of a firefight. Plus they'd have to be carrying those extra parts with them the whole time. )

Humans can change some change via training, but they aren’t going to be changing a lot, because it takes a long time to make major changes.

Why do I need a weakness?

Because no character is perfect. And each person should have some weakness that they can have used against them.

A storyline change affects my character... What do I do?

If you've used the character in other series/stories (or etc…) with details that contradict what have been stated in this RP then you have to remove the offending aspects from your character if you want to use them here.

So this means if your character has a power that is explicitly blacklisted (like a one hit kill move) then that power will have to be completely removed (as in the character has never had it, has no memory of it and will never have it) in order to use them.
